About Our School
Our school is located in the heart of Northwest Bradenton, and is a mission of Palma Sola Presbyterian Church. Our beautiful campus features well-designed and equipped preschool classrooms; a soft-surfaces 'little' gym, two wonderful, large, imaginative playgrounds under a cool canopy of giant oaks, and a spacious after-school suite with an activity/games area and a homework/multi-purpose area. We also have a secured entry system that uses a PIN code to enter.
The school began as a playgroup started by several young mothers from the church. It grew and thrived and now serves over 120 families from all over Manatee County. Several of our currently enrolled children are those of people who attended the school themselves when they were younger!
We are licensed by the State of Florida. We participate - on a limited basis - in the School Readiness and VPK programs of the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County, Inc.
Our faculty have been with us an average of over nine years (virtually unheard of in the early childhood field), with several who have been with us over 18 years. All of our teachers have extensive training and experience in Early Childhood, and many have higher degrees in this field.
We guard our reputation for low child-to-teacher ratios very carefully. We operate well below the numbers of children-per-teachers allowed by the state. Every one of our faculty and staff are child advocates!
