Our Programs and Faculty

Palma Sola Presbyterian Preschool
received the Early Learning Coalition's 2009-2010
Certificate of Excellence for scoring in the
TOP 10% for VPK School Readiness.
(most recent year data available)

VPK Graduation, May 2010
Our classes all feature a developmentally-appropriate curriculum. Children learn through play, guided activities, and an enriched environment. They receive a great deal of one-on-one interaction with their teachers, but are also encouraged to develop self-sufficiency.

In addition, our children learn Spanish from our Spanish-speaking teachers, Ms. Debbie and Ms. Wendy; and Bible and Music with our teacher, Ms. Stephanie. Christian teachings are part of every day, and every snack and meal includes prayer.

Our philosophy for discipline is based on helping the children to discover self-control, rather than having to be controlled by those around them. We use natural consequences, redirection, and conflict negotiation.
